the haori

hah-aw-ree; (羽織) Japanese

a traditional Japanese jacket worn over a kimono, resembling a shortened kimono with no overlapping front panels.

In search of a silhouette that embodies our value for ease and comfort, we have taken the Haori and imbued it with our signature patchwork, upcycled from vintage articles, adorned with hand-stitched sashiko (刺し子, lit. 'little stabs'), a type of traditional Japanese embroidery or stitching used for the decorative and/or functional reinforcement of cloth and clothing.

This item has become synonymous, or some might say, the brand's must-have.

One form. Infinite variations.
